What is the capacity of this home security safe?

Does the safe beep when the buttons are pressed?

Yes, but you can choose to enter the safe into silent mode which will ensure that the safe is muted.

Where is the battery compartment on this safe and do you get a low battery warning?

The battery compartment is located on the inside door of the safe and a low battery warning light will be illuminated on the safe.

Does this home safe have backup power if the batteries run out?

Yes. The safe includes a USB-C emergency power port which allows temporary power access to open the safe and replace the batteries. Four AA batteries are included for normal operation.

Can the safe be mounted securely?

Absolutely. The safe comes with mounting fixtures so you can secure it to a wall or floor. This prevents it from being moved or carried away. The holes are pre-drilled so you can mount this immediately.

How do I set or change the password on this small safe?

With the door open, press the reset button once, then start setting code when the yellow light indicates.
Input new user code (3 to 8 digits) and press “#” button to confirm with 2 buzzer beeps, which indicates the acceptance and storage of the new code.
If the yellow light flashes with 3 buzzer beeps, this means the code did not change and you need to try again.

What happens if the wrong code is entered by mistake?

If the wrong code is entered three times, the safe will trigger its self-locking alarm system, temporarily blocking access for added security.

What happens if I forget my code to unlock the safe?

If you forget your code, you can still access the safe using one of the two included override keys. Simply slide open the lock cover, insert the key, and turn to unlock the safe.
